Companies in Fairburn have an opportunity to invest in a new workforce at no cost to them through the state training program called Quick Start. In Fiscal Year 2009, Quick Start, created 223 customized workforce training programs to create or save nearly 16,000 jobs. Quick Start partners with qualifying companies to design and deliver free customized technical training.
Fairburn’s four-acre educational campus is also a first-class educational venue incorporating adult and technical education and customized business and industry workforce training. Currently Brenau University and GMC Community College are in residence on the campus.
