National Faith and Blue Weekend

On Saturday, October 10th at 8 AM Fairburn PD will be participating in National Faith and Blue Weekend. We have partnered with Open Word Christian Ministries for a drive-thru, socially distanced, school supply, and safety supply giveaway. This event is specifically geared for elementary school children. FPD and local faith leaders will be handing out crayons, pencils, pencil bags, hand sanitizer, and other age-appropriate items to local elementary school children. This is based on the information from local schools that kids are not able to share supplies due to COVID. Any remaining items will be donated to our local schools! To participate, simply arrive at Open Word Christian Ministries (6230 Campbellton Fairburn Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213) on Saturday, October 10th at the Dodson Road entrance at 8 AM. Officers and faith leaders (wearing masks) will be present for prayer, and then to hand out supplies to you and your student while you remain in your vehicle.
