City of Fairburn Expands Access to Literacy with Little Libraries

Fairburn, GA — November 21, 2024 — The City of Fairburn is proud to unveil its new Little Libraries initiative, a program designed to foster literacy and community connection through free book exchanges. Strategically located at three convenient sites—Mario B. Avery Park, Fairburn Youth Center, and Frankie Arnold Stage and Courtyard—these charming book-sharing boxes allow residents of all ages to drop off or pick up books at their leisure.

“Our Little Libraries are a step toward building a stronger, more literate community,” said Mayor Mario B. Avery. “Books hold the power to transform lives, and by making them easily accessible, we are opening doors to knowledge, imagination, and opportunity for everyone in Fairburn.”
