How to Mail Your Tax Bills & Due Date

City of Fairburn property tax bills are mailed at the end of October of each year.

Payment must be received on or before the due date of January 6, 2025, to avoid penalty and interest. Payments can be made in person or mailed to:

City of Fairburn tax bills are sent to the mailing address of the current owner as provided to us by the Fulton County Tax Assessors Office. Property tax records also reflect the owner of record, determined by ownership as of January 1 of the specified year. We attempt to send a copy of the tax bill to this address also. If you purchase property between January 1 and October 1, please contact our office at 770-964-2244, ext. 118 or email us at jmontoya@fairburn.com, to request a copy of the current year’s tax statement. 

Please note as of August 1, 2017, the only forms of payment that will be accepted are: cash, credit card, cashier's checks or money orders.
