Mayor Mario B. Avery Receives Diamond Award!

On Saturday, January 27th, the City of Fairburn's very own Mayor Mario B. Avery was a distinguished recipient of the Diamond Award. Mayor Avery was recognized for his leadership excellence in leadership, philanthropy, humanitarianism & community engagement. There to support was Mayor Pro Tem James Whitmore, Council Member Hattie Portis-Jones, City Administrator Tony M. Phillips and Assistant City Administrator Jamila Criss. The Diamond Awards celebrates Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Access, and salutes the Hallmark of Community. It also recognizes and honors essential & front-line workers while celebrating excellence in Arts, Business, Entertainment, Government, Corporate America, and Community.
