In collaboration with the City of Fairburn, GFL Environmental is working to improve service outcomes and that includes a revamp of the current service plan. The new service plan will consolidate trash pick up to one (1) day a week so that it can be managed more efficiently. Their priority is to continue to provide the best service that they can. In order to keep striving for that goal, your current service day will be adjusted.

City of Fairburn Council Meetings will return to in-person meetings on Monday, May 9, 2022 in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Doors to the Council Chambers will open to the public at 5:30pm. Hand sanitizer and face masks will be available.

On Monday, May 2, 2022, all City facilities, including City Hall, opened to the public for in-person services. The City will return to in-person Council meetings on Monday, May 9, 2022. All City of Fairburn boards, commissions, committees, and bodies will return to in-person meetings. High touch areas in City buildings will be sanitized frequently during the day to prevent and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Hand sanitizer will be available in all high traffic areas.

The City of Fairburn will host an Annual Spring Clean Up this Friday and Saturday, April 22nd & 23rd and a Free Document Shred-It Event on Saturday, April 23rd. Both events offer residents the opportunity to dispose of household waste at no charge.
