The City of Fairburn came together on Saturday, February 8th, to celebrate the extraordinary life and legacy of Mrs. Frankie Mae Arnold, the city's first African American councilmember. Her homegoing service, held at 11 a.m., was a powerful tribute to her enduring impact on the community she loved and served.

The City of Fairburn is taking a significant step in public safety with the launch of Fairburn Safe, a new initiative designed to strengthen community security and emergency response. At the core of this program is the Real-Time Crime Center, which equips first responders with advanced technology to improve emergency preparedness, assist in evidence collection, and enable faster, more efficient responses to crimes and emergencies.

The City of Fairburn is calling on residents to take an active role in shaping the future of the historic Old Campbell Courthouse property. Through a 2-day Community Input Workshop, the city aims to engage the community, gather innovative ideas, and collaborate on transforming this iconic space into a valuable asset for Fairburn.
The workshops, scheduled for December 11th and 12th, offer residents multiple opportunities to participate in a dynamic and collaborative planning process.

Strategically located at three convenient sites—Mario B. Avery Park, Fairburn Youth Center, and Frankie Arnold Stage and Courtyard—these charming book-sharing boxes allow residents of all ages to drop off or pick up books at their leisure.
